[ARB] Sheikh Jamāl Al-Dīn Al-Qāsimī wa Ishāmātuhu Al -ʼIlmīyah Sheikh Jamāl al-Dīn al-Qāsimī and his Scientific Contributions

Abstract

This study presents the personality of Sheikh Jamal al-Din al-Qasimi – may Allah have mercy
on him -, through the definition of aspects of his scientific and reform life. This study is based
on two methods: historical and analytical. And in this context, it was necessary to talk about
the most important works that characterized his activity. This study was also concerned with
clarifying the scientific contribution, especially in the sciences of sharia. The study dealt with
defining his book (Qawāid al-Tahdīth Min Funūn Muṣṭalah al-Ḥadīth) as a clear example of
Sheikh al-Qasimi’s method of simplifying and approximating the science.
