Analisis kesilapan Kata Tugas dalam Karangan Bahasa Melayu Murid Tahun Enam [Analysis of Task Word Errors in Malay Essays of Year Six Students]

Kajian ini dilakukan untuk mengenal pasti kesilapan golongan kata tugas dalam karangan bahasa Melayu murid tahun enam. Kajian berbentuk analisis dokumen ini mengaplikasikan Teori Kesilapan Corder (1973). Sebanyak 50 sampel karangan deskriptif yang ditulis oleh murid tahun enam yang berpencapaian sederhana digunakan sebagai alat kajian ini. Dapatan analisis kesilapan dipersembahkan dalam bentuk kekerapan dan peratusan. Analisis kesilapan menunjukkan bahawa murid tahun enam tersebut melakukan 78 kesilapan golongan kata tugas. Responden melakukan kesilapan menggugurkan kata hubung dalam binaan ayat, kesilapan  menggunakan kata hubung pancangan keterangan pada pangkal ayat, kesilapan menggunakan kata hubung yang tidak diperlukan dalam binaan ayat, kesilapan menggunakan kata bantu aspek yang tidak perlu, kesilapan menyisipkan kata bantu antara kata kerja transitif dengan objek, kesilapan tidak meletakkan kata sendi nama selepas kata kerja tak transitif, kesilapan menggunakan kata sendi ‘di’, kesilapan meletakkan kata sendi nama di antara kata kerja transitif dengan objek, kesilapan meletakkan kata nafi bukan di hadapan frasa kerja, dan kesilapan meletakkan kata pemeri ‘adalah’ sebelum kata nama. Kesilapan kata tugas dalam karangan akan mengakibatkan maksud ayat dibina tidak dapat difahami oleh pembaca atau memberikan maksud yang tidak tepat.

Abstract

 

This study was conducted to identify the errors of task words in Malay language essays of sixth year students. This document analysis study applies Corder Error Theory (1973). A total of 50 samples of descriptive essays written by moderate -achieving sixth -year students were used as the tools of this study. The findings of the error analysis are presented in the form of frequency and percentage. Error analysis showed that the sixth year student made 78 task word group errors. Respondents made the mistake of dropping conjunctions in sentence construction, mistakes in using adverbial prepositions at the base of sentences, mistakes in using unnecessary conjunctions in sentence construction, mistakes in using unnecessary aspect auxiliaries, mistakes in inserting auxiliary words between transitive verbs and objects , the error of not placing the noun conjunction after the intransitive verb, the error of using the conjunction 'in', the error of placing the noun conjunction between the transitive verb and the object, the error of placing the negative word not in front of the working phrase, and the error of placing the pronoun ' is' before the noun. Assignment errors in the essay will result in the meaning of the constructed sentence not being understood by the reader or giving an inaccurate meaning.
